This is nearly as big as a rim disc and has the big advantage of being an off the shelf item, and made from a approprate material.

I am useing a Kawasaki ER6 engine mainly because of its very compact dimensions , an important consideration for this layout.
I am planing to make a trellis style frame in steel along with a Hossack front end, the body work will be in aluminum and a fairing in carbon fiber. This may all change as the design progresses.
I am also attempting to cast my own front wheel design, this is also coverd here.
